As far as I know, I'm caught up with my flist, so I'm going on my hiatus now! I will continue to update my LJ (mainly because I want a record of how I was feeling just before omgthelasthpbookever and also I've got a post half-done about all my theories and what I hope will happen and the questions I want answered), but I won't be checking my flist or going to any other website or listening to any podcasts or doing anything at all that could lead to me being spoiled. I absolutely refuse to let it happen this time, so I'm going underground and not emerging until after I've read the book. If it's an absolute emergency, you can e-mail me, but I'm only going to read e-mails from people who I know won't be spoiling me. (I also won't be responding to comments, either...or reading them, for that matter.)

Summary: Welcome to Dante's Cove. The year is 1840. Grace, a Tresum witch, is set to marry Ambrosius Vallin. Just one problem. When Ambrosius promises Grace that he could never love another woman, he means it. Why? Because Ambrosius is gay. When Grace catches Ambrosius and his houseboy having sex, she kills the houseboy and chains Ambrosius up in the basement of her home, cursing him with old age until a young man kisses him, thus restoring him to his former self. Flash forward almost 200 years. Toby and Kevin are two of the gay residents of the Hotel Dante, Grace's former home, and they're in love. But when Kevin hears Ambrosius's call and tries to rescue him, Ambrosius gets his freeing kiss, and power over Kevin. What's more, Ambrosius put his two hundred years of imprisonment to good use. He spent the time learning Grace's craft, and is now skilled in the art of Tresum, too. What will happen now that Ambrosius is free and has Kevin under his spell? Yes, this is the second vid I've posted within 24 hours. No, I didn't start on this one until after I'd posted the last one. Yes, that means this was completed within 9 hours. I'm just that good. ;-) Kidding, kidding. I do, however, think this may be my favorite one that I've made. Hee!

So um...yeah. I should not be allowed to watch Grind. Nay, Adam Brody shouldn't be allowed to act in it. Why? BECAUSE EVERY ROLE THAT BOY TAKES ON ENDS UP BEING THE GAYEST THING IN THE HISTORY OF THE WORLD. Yeah. Also, I mean, come on, he's rolling around on a bed with Matt and Matt grabs his ass and he grabs Matt's manboobs and MY GOD GAY.

Why am I ranting about this?

Because I just wrote 310 words of GRIND fic. Yeah. Shoot me now. I'm not putting it in my ficjournal, I don't think, cuz um...yeah. Besides, it's just a drabble, but I'm putting it here. Enjoy, or don't. Crappy fic from a crappy movie, methinks.
