Summary: Welcome to Dante's Cove. The year is 1840. Grace, a Tresum witch, is set to marry Ambrosius Vallin. Just one problem. When Ambrosius promises Grace that he could never love another woman, he means it. Why? Because Ambrosius is gay. When Grace catches Ambrosius and his houseboy having sex, she kills the houseboy and chains Ambrosius up in the basement of her home, cursing him with old age until a young man kisses him, thus restoring him to his former self. Flash forward almost 200 years. Toby and Kevin are two of the gay residents of the Hotel Dante, Grace's former home, and they're in love. But when Kevin hears Ambrosius's call and tries to rescue him, Ambrosius gets his freeing kiss, and power over Kevin. What's more, Ambrosius put his two hundred years of imprisonment to good use. He spent the time learning Grace's craft, and is now skilled in the art of Tresum, too. What will happen now that Ambrosius is free and has Kevin under his spell? Here's hoping this video will make you want to watch the rest of the series to find out. (Note: This show is the first gay horror show and airs on the here! network. It is often equated with "Buffy the Vampire Slayer meets Queer as Folk," though in my opinion, I would add "...meets Dawson's Creek" into that.)

The notes aren't long this time, because A) the vid is only 2:40 or so, and B) there is no deep, hidden meaning here, no symbolism. There is only Ambrosius, Grace, Toby, and Kevin, and my plea for everyone to watch this show. This video is unashamedly a recruiter vid. It's meant to intrigue you, maybe turn you on, but make you want to get interested in the show and find out what the hell is going on. For that reason, it doesn't necessarily tell a story. Rather, it shows you brief glimpses of a story, and aims to make you want to find out what the hell the story is.
Also, it's meant to be a video that you can enjoy without ever having seen an episode of the show, so everyone can enjoy (or not enjoy, haha) it.
That said, that's all I've got. Told you they were short this time.

Well, basically, if you watch this video, then you've watched the entire first episode. It basically gets in all the interesting stuff. The only stuff I left out was like...filler. So if you watch this, then you've seen the first episode. And I guess I could do an episodic of the second episode, too...
Hell, might do it for all of them. "3 hours and 20 minutes of Dante's Cove in under 7 minutes of total vid" LoL.

Seriously, I would recommend watching it, if only for the entire chorus-long sex scene I included. (Even I will acknowledge that I didn't need to show THAT much to establish that Toby and Kevin were together, but...there was touching and skin and nakedness and sexing and I just couldn't end it.)
I keep watching it over and over. It's honestly my favorite video I've made so far, lol.
