My original intent was to make this a tribute to Zach and Anna and how Seth and Summer...well, I don't want to say the word "used", but...pretty much just treated them like so much garbage. In the end of the song, the music takes on this suspenseful vibe, and I wanted to have a scene of Summer running to Seth in The Rainy Day Women, cutting back to shots of Zach still in the airport looking sad, becuase...God, the poor boy. The last shot was intended to be Zach looking up like he saw someone, then cutting to Anna, to imply that they saw each other. It was supposed to end on that note, as if to say "Hey, you've gone through this, too." It was supposed to be hopeful. However, the more I cut Zach into the Spidey-Kiss scene, the more depressed it made me, so I ended with him looking depressed and then one last shot of Anna crying at the airport, as if to say, "Look how bad you hurt these two, stupid Seth and Summer." I used a shatter effect...3 times, I think, and I did it for a reason. The two times it's shown in the Seth/Anna half is when Summer sees them together, because she's what breaks them up. When it's used in the Zach/Summer half, it's caused by Seth. I used it to imply that no matter what, Seth will always break up Summer's relationships and she'll always break up his. It goes back to that whole, "You can't fight fate" thing, and Zach and Anna's misfortune at being the two people who've tried to do it. Also, I'm not sure how I feel about everything after the shot of Anna in the airport about half-way through the video. The entire Zach/Summer half gave me trouble to the point that I almost quit it several times. I finally ended up leaving it like this, after about 5 billion drafts. I'm still not happy with it, but it got to the point where I was tearing my hair out and screaming, and I'm now completely and utterly sick of this song. It's definately not the best vid I've ever done, but...well, it's better than my earlier efforts, so hey, learning experience, move on, whatever, yeah? Is it weird that I think the best part of the video is the credits at the end? Hey, I got to use the phrase MANDAPANTS in the credits, which officially makes them cool. Shut up. Anyway...view it, enjoy it, and concrit is always welcome because God knows I need it.

Fantastic babe. I didn't read the explanation before I watched the vid, and I totally got it!

but why did you save it in such a small format? Is it just my imagination, or have you done the others with bigger dimentions.

God that spiderman kiss scene is just *guh* - I keep thinking how weird it would be to kiss upside down like that though. :P

Aw, thank you! And yeah, the dimensions are small, but that's because if I save it at full-size, it's a HUGE file, like 40-60MB, where as this way, it's anywhere from 8-20MB. Much more manageable.

Hahaha, I love the spidey kiss. It'll forever be my favorite moment in television history. ♥
