I made the decision to cut away there, because the theory was that Andrew was trying to make the memories stop by killing Jonathan, so he stabbed him at exactly that moment, exactly before he saw the blood spatter onto Willow and Tara die, because that was as far as he would let the memory go, once he saw the window break, he was like "STOP!" and stabbed him. And then I picked up at exactly then in the second to last shot because it's him finally letting the truth come through and realizing that whether he loved Warren or not, Warren was something of a psychotic, evil bastard, and he has to learn to live with that.
