Calling all non-virgins...

Yeah, so what I'm about to ask is highly inappropriate and very personal, thus you are allowed to post anonymously and no IP addresses will be logged. Here's the dealy, yos. I have to start working on my fic for the jameslilyfqf very soon and my challenge is first-time awkward sex. You all know what happened the first time I "technically" had sex, and I haven't had it since, so I haven't had that real first-time experience, so I have nothing to draw on. So here's the dealie. Can you guys just tell me some random things about your first times? I have no clue what I'm doing here, so if you've got something that might help, please share. If you don't feel like sharing your personal story or are like me and don't have a personal story, rec a fic that you've read that you thought captured the first time thing pretty well. I have no clue what I'm doing here and I'm wibbling over that and the fact that I've only written James and Lily ONCE and well, that was just a random piece of smut for Liz. So...anonymous commenting is on in case you don't want to let everyone know who you are, so...have at it. And yeah, I know this is weird for me to be asking, and trust me, I wouldn't be if I wasn't desperate. Thanks.

Now that I've disturbed you all, let me go back to being normal. Kristyn read the first part of her fic and the subject line of her comment was "Fucking brilliant, well not yet" lol. She actually squeed. That has got to be my greatest accomplishment to date, as this allows me to join the ranks of the few, the proud, the squee-worthy. You mo-fo's realize that this puts me on par with the ferret scene? *is honored* :) I do feel guilty though because everyone seems to think that I hate Tonks, which I don't, or that I'm against Remus/Tonks, which I'm not. I purposefully wrote this fic so that it could be canon and yet Remus and Tonks still get together. I purposefully included her crush on him, and then had him say something about how he liked her name and she blushes. I really really really wanted this to be something that could've been canon, a "deleted scene" almost.

That being said, other than challenges that I've already signed up for or birthday fics, I'm taking a break from smut. I feel like I'm writing the exact same scene over and over and over and it never changes. It's getting old, and quite frankly, I'm sick of smut almost. So, I'm taking a break until I can come up with something more original to do. Yeah, I can't believe that I'm doing this either, but I am, so...*shrug* Right then...back to Liz's birthday fic, which I don't think will be porn, though it may be a little...I'm gonna try to keep it at PG-13 or R because I don't think it needs to be smutty...*shrug* We'll see. Anyway, good-night. 28 days til Christmas Eve! :)

But yeah, first time? Does that mean they are both virgins or it's just their first time together? That is very important, or if one of them is a virgin and the other one isn't. I can't really answer your question until you answer mine.

Anyway, the challenge just said "Awkward first time sex," but I was going to do them both virgins because I can't stand "James and Sirius are the sex gods of the school" fics or "Lily is a whore" fics. This is actually going to be set on either the night they get engaged or the night of their wedding, because I see Lily as being kind of like Hermione and being a bit of a prude.

Well okay then. Two virgins together = trouble. Really. My first was a virgin and he did push-ups on me and I bled for a week. (Didn't you want to know that?) But I'm sure James wouldn't be that *ahem* stupid. Definitely include some issues with actually getting it in, because yeah, it's like trying to fit a stale marshmellow in a keyhole. It will hurt her, at first. Then he'll probably come too quickly and feel bad but she won't care. Um... more awkwardness... let me think. Having to do it somewhere other than a bed because they both live with their parents... lack of foreplay because he doesn't know any better... um... that's all I got right now. Good luck. :)
