Narrator: At their respective parents’ funerals, dizzy with grief, curiosity and hormones, young Ned and a girl named Chuck had their first and only kiss. [...] The Pie Maker never returned to Coeur d’Coeurs after being sent away to school, but he thought of Chuck every day.

Ned: I used to – when I lived next door to you – I had a crush – I was in – you...were my first kiss.
Chuck: Yeah? You were my first kiss, too. You want to be my last kiss? First and last? Or is that weird?
Ned: That’s not weird. It’s symmetrical.
Narrator: Chuck’s minute of life was nearly over. The Pie Maker’s lips went as far as they would go. He couldn’t will them to go any further. And as a consequence, the funeral director would go no further.
Chuck: Hey, if you don’t want to kiss me, that’s okay, I just thought it might be –
Ned: No, I want to. I do, I – what if you didn’t have to be dead?
Chuck: Well, that would be preferable.

Ned: You’re the only one for me.
Chuck: I know you feel that now, but there are things you want. There are things we both want...
Ned: So? Everyone wants stuff, we wake up every day with list of wishes a mile long and maybe we spend our lives trying to make those wishes come true, but just because we want them doesn’t mean we need them to be happy.
Chuck: What do you need to be happy?
Ned: You.

Chuck: We haven’t seen each other in like, twenty years. Don’t you want to know about me? I want to know everything about you.
Ned: Look, we’ve all done things we’re not proud of. We all have secrets.
Chuck: What secrets?

Hmm...I started to fill out the application, but then I read the quotes section, the Andrew quotes in particular. That's when I had an issue. The Andrew from those quotes...is not my Andrew. At all. And it sort of...I don't know. It put me off, because that's now how I'd play him, and it was like, "Well, if they're expecting this, then they're going to hate the way I play him," because my post-The Girl in Question Andrew is so very, very different than the one that seemed to be in those quotes. I don't know. Am I making any sense?

Hey. Okay - so, the problem I have with having a community that's been alive for so long is that players come and go. Also, when I started this SL - it was actually the first SL I'd ever modded, I had no idea that it would last this long, I didn't even know what I was doing at first, lol.

Basically, I want anyone who can play Andrew well, and whatever their take is on him, we can adopt that. Especially because Andrew hasn't been played for the past year at all. It's not a blank slate exactly - but in a way, it is. What we'd want you not to change is the fact that Andrew came over to Cleveland to help train Slayers. Now, from there - it's open. You can say he's stayed, or left. They've since moved to Hope Falls, and nothing has been said of Andrew. We could easily say he's been with them, or that he was behind, or that he's been in another part of the world on a mission, or training other Slayers.

I do think that our Andrew players, one in particularly, played Andrew as a season 7 Andrew. They didn't show the growth he'd earned.

We're not expecting anything other than what you want to bring to the table. You seem intelligent (from what I can gather), and I can tell that you take this serious enough that I can trust that you won't incorporate anything unreasonable. (Not sucking up, just being honest.)

In short - yes, you are making sense. I hope you still might consider applying.

This actually has inspired me to want to put a disclaimer on the quotes - that the quotes from the beginning are from some different players than the ones we have now.
